Today is the 15 year anniversary of Follow The Leader. Korn's third album. this one brings back alot of memories for me. I got introduced to Korn in 1996 when my friend let me borrow Life Is Peachy on cassette. then shortly after I purchased Life Is Peachy and Self Titled.so when I found out that Korn was coming out with a new album in the summer of '98 I was stoked. my local rock radio station played Got The Life sometime in late July and said it was going to be on Korn's new album I fell in love with that track. I recorded it on a blank cassette tape and played it over and over again. then finally on the release date I went with my uncle to my local record store and purchased the album. my favorite tracks are Dead Bodies Everywhere, It's On, Got The Life, Pretty and of course Freak On A Leash. this album brings back alot of memories for me. what are y'all memories and thoughts on Follow The Leader?

All month in honor of FTL's birthday when I drive around I bump it on my tape cassette player in my car. When I'm at home I listen to it from front to back on vinyl just about everyday. Gonna put it in right now and rock out to it before I head to Boston for job training. I was 14 turning 15 less then a month later after I first got the CD. I remember going to school all excited telling everyone I got FTL and I would walk to school and listen to it every morning on my walkmen. Those really were the days. I've been trying to not touch the ipod or itunes lately and want to go back to listening to music the way I used to. Through cds, records and tape.

When I first picked up the album, I assumed that it was a continuation of the first album due to the fact that it started off with track 13. Sure, there are direct follow ups to albums in many bands discography of music, but this one appeared to be different. It seemed like an interesting concept at the time when I believed that to be true, but when I discovered the real reason, it made clear. Pretty noble of the band I might add. Incidentally, the art was the second thing I recognized. Since I'm a comic book nerd myself, I instantly noticed it was Todd McFarlane right away. Eventually I will get the booklet signed by the band and the artist himself.

I love listening to CDS And Vinyl. I'd pick that over digital anyday. Great Story too!

I was familiar with Korn before FTL but not really a fan. FTL changed that. I still get chills when It's On starts. The whole album is just badass.

First album of theirs that I bought. Has two or three filler songs, but overall good stuff.
