bands in general
i've not wrote a blog in a while so i thought i'd just find something to write about XD and what better thing to talk about is there than music and bands in general. :D i was thinking there's so many bands out there that just sound the same as others and it seems i cant find any bands that sound like themselves apart from korn of course and a small number of other bands. im talking about bands like flymore who just sound like old korn from around the issues era im sure people know what i mean :) anyway that is all thought over XD

That's my problem exactly. I can't seem to find any decent bands anymore. Everything sounds like the same shit to me. And when I tell people I listen to Korn, Slipknot, System of a Down, Marilyn Manson they tell me to stop listening to mainstream and find myself some unknown metal band, because otherwise I look like a poser. May I suggest Deftones? They came out around the same time as Korn and have held their own sound throughout their entire career :P one of my favorites.

Yea I know exactly what u mean :/ this is why I'm only listening to Korn, Jack White, some Marilyn Manson, Hindi/Bhangra music and some punk. I'm tired of searching for bands that I would like bc they are just so rare. It's hard to find a really good and unique band these days.. meh
