Too much of a good thing?

My phone is glitching...earlier this summer my phone "updated" one night, and somehow it assigned "Twist" to play whenever I have a message in my FB inbox. Now I'm getting message notifications even if there's no new message! It keeps going off, I kept waking up through out the night...BALLS!!! I've searched my phone to see where I can turn it off and I can't even find where to change the settings. Guess I need to take advantage of my phone upgrade now...
