my gift to .. me, me, me :)
Oooh, I'm so excited - for more than 10 years it's been my dream to go to New York, and now this dream is coming true. I just booked the flight, I still can't believe it.
If any of you got any recommendations what to see, where to go ... besides the touristy places, please let me know. Thanks so much*
Maybe there's hope for a tiny little Korn concert when I'm there ;)

Thank you soo much for the info, I'll for sure go to see that toys r us. ;) I also will do tourist-things, I already have quite alot on my list. Just thought, maybe there are some secret spots that tourists won't find that easily - like the dumpling place, thanks for that!! Also, I'd like to see a baseball game, I've never been to one. :)

I actually took my very first flight and went to NYC last September. I had a blast and I'm sure that you will too. But trust me, the touristy stuff is great. Go to the Empire State Building and Central Park or you may end up regretting it. See China Town. Go to Grand Central Station and Times Square- home of the best Toys R Us in the world. FOA Swartz has that big piano from "Big." Midtown Comics is the best!
