On this day in 1995, I attended my first KoRn concert. The show was held at The Point, if I remember correctly, in Buckhead, which is a fancy part of Atlanta. I have no recollection about opening acts or anything like that, although I kissed my friend's girlfriend (he didn't mind), because I was heavily "medicated."

In those days I attended concerts wearing only jeans because I would lose my plain white t-shirts almost immediately when the music began, and Korn was no different. They opened with "Helmet in the Bush." It was so amazing how it sounded, "hello, this is caco" and then DUN, DUN, DUN (I don't know how to spell the music). Obviously, they didn't play "Daddy," but they played everything else off ST and once JD said, "you motherfuckers are loud." It was amazing. I thought JD was tall and Fieldy was black. Again, "medicated."
