Tao Of Fire
Written By Sean W. Gregory
Tao will be conversed about, but never the eternal Tao.
Nameless is the Tao and forever that which is hidden; is unnamable.
For a name can just be named, but never will the eternal name.
As like heaven and Earth it is nameless.
But as a mother; it is namable
Why not look into its inner essence?
For what's hidden can be found.
"As always manifest, we should look at its outer aspects." (Lao Tzu)
For the two births from the same source, though they are named differently; alas both are enigmas.
The Door of all essence is the Mystery of mysteries.
To write the Tao of Fire is to teach the ways of "burnt" emptiness; what is left unknown or taken.
To write the Tao of Fire is to also to write the Tao of Water which is to teach the ways of "frozen" emptiness; what is left forbidden or locked away.
Our elements should not be confused, know the element within you, and know the elements around you.
Mind the water for clarity.
Mind the fire for warmth.
Like the stream of life, love will be home in the goodness of our own mind.
Know your good mind to complement your ill mind.
I am nothing; of the Tao, this is my honor.
To be of nothing, is to be of everything,
For the Tao is in all.
For everyone I am the fire, I am the Taurus, I am the east.
For me I am nothing,
As a mirror reflecting clear of what is before it.
As the sky that reflects clearly off the vast lake.
Think nothing but clear water;
Warm and cold.
Witness the gift that is given before you,
Being born from non-being.
As a seed to a flower,
I am thankful for the wind, the water, and the earth.
