Old School Korn vs Dubstep Korn...

Everyone loves Old School Korn, including me, in fact, i grew up on the "Life is Peachy" Cd, but i have to be Honest, this New Dubstep Korn is Sexy as F***!... Actually, Korn has been putting Dubstep into their Songs ever since the release of the "Untouchables" Cd in the summer of 2002.. So it is No Surprise to me that they have Evolved down this Route with the recent Release of the "Path of Totality" Cd.. But, at the same time, their has been a good share of Criticism over this New Dubstep Sound that Korn has been Working on.. a lot of People don't like it.. but as for Me, a long time Old School Korn Kid, i absolutely Love this New Dubstep Sound!.. i even think that the "Path of Totality" Cd is some of Korn's Best Work yet and if it was up to Me, i would Recommend that Korn continue to Add this New Dubstep Sound into their Future Albums.. Who knows, maybe even do an Album with "Daft Punk", probably Not going to happen, but, We can Dream can't we?.. Now i have heard that their New Cd, coming out at the End of the Summer 2013, is going to be More of the Old School Korn that we have come to Love.. i am Definitely O.k. with that too, in fact, i can't Wait to Blast it into my Eardrums.. With that Said, i would like to Get some Peoples Opinions on this Issue.. Should Korn get back to their Roots and put out More Old School Korn Albums or Should they Continue to Add this New Dubstep Sound into the Mix... You decide??

i liked the dubstep, the songs were an attack on the senses and, while im not a fan of dubstep alone, i think that the blend of my favourite band with a background of electronics was actually a welcome refreshment, korn is all about pushing the boudaries, because there is no limit to what they can do, no preconcieved shackles, but i did think that hteir was a little too much dubstep for the other band memebers to shine through. that being said, i hope they have maybe a little dubstep on the next album.

I got in to KORN when one of my mates gave me a cd,(follow the leader), He said he tried to play it but there was nothing on there which I said Yeh right, So I tried & Tried UNTIL it," You had to skip to track 13 until you had a song"(WHY did they do that) And then they BLEW my mind, & Was hooked, I must admit I didn't find PEACHY & there 1st cd all that good,But each for there own!.Path of toty was an 8 out of 10 for me, But I thought they kind of used DUB in Follow T L. Remember every cd they release they say " we are going back to the old school" Just to keep you & The rest of us KORN fans interested. It will be same old Korn but with a different name. PEACE BRO....

I love all KoRn! I didn't really get the big fuss with The Path of Totality; KoRn have experimented with electronic music since Self Titled (Helmet in the Bush)! I mean even JD was a DJ before he was the singer in KoRn lol, so I didn't get why everyone was all like 'OMFG, KoRn are dead, they sold out, how could they, blah blah blah lol'! It's just another chapter to add to their amazing book of music, The Path of Totality was a great fun experimental album, I enjoyed it, more so than Korn III if I'm completely honest!

i like everything korn has done, when i first head of a dubstep inspired album i was a little weary because i don't care that much for dubstep, but they pulled it off and i'm not surprised lol and i really love the album, i would like their next cd to go more old school roots, i love fieldy's bass, it's unique and i miss it when you can't hear it on albums, to me that's what was lacking on syotos.

I also am a fan of the dubstep, the mixture of the old KoRn with this new music is brilliant...but I personally love old school KoRn, and I want more of that. :) Either way I would still love the new album! I do know a lot of people that think dubstep ruined them, but we can't call them true KoRn fans, can we?! ☺
