The two cute little girls in this picture may look innocent, but the reality is they are outlaws. Its the responsibility of any citizen to call the police and report any suspect activity of this sort. They could be fined and possibly even arrested for selling lemonade without a permit. Don't believe me? Check out these videos. I am not going to lie, I actually cried a little bit while watching them.
Yep. Illegal. No permit, no lemonade stand. Period. Not even if its for charity. Check out these little boys trying to raise money for cancer. HOW DARE THEY!
This problem is somewhat of an epidemic. Its technically illegal pretty much everywhere in the United States to operate a lemonade stand without a business license and has been for quite sometime. It really hasn't been enforced by police officers much in the past due to those silly things called Conscience and Common Sense.
But those days are over!
Here is the problem. We here in America think we are free, but the truth is we really are FREE TO DO WHAT THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWS US TO DO. Here are 3 things your probably haven't thought about.
1. We Are All Slaves
You can't work without giving part of your money to the government. That makes you a slave. You don't even have to pay yourself, but you have to pay the government what you earn.
2. You Don't Own Anything
You can't buy land without out paying the government taxes. Technically this means you are renting it from them. You can't build or remodel without a permits. If they want to build a park or a highway where you live, they can just kick you off - even if you don't want to.
These processes are called "Eminent Domain" and "Asset Forfeiture" and they apply to more than just your land. Police officers can take and keep your car, your guns, your computer, or anything else they want - without even charging you with a crime.
3. It Is Illegal To Compete With The Government
The reason these kids can't sell lemonade is because they aren't paying the city their dues. They compete with businesses that the government gets paid to protect. The reality is, the government is a business partner with every company that works with them. They protect those interests.
These little kids, and you and I, can't just start selling whatever we like. We are not free to do that. As long as the government benefits, they will give out permits to most people. But when there is too much money involved, they make more rules and make it impossible for anyone to compete with the companies that pay them the most.
Here are a few more adorable outlaws. If we don't stand up for these kids, who will? We need to say enough is enough. This is ridiculous for today, and dangerous for tomorrow.
