The past weekend
One of my sisters and her six year old daughter came to visit this last weekend. They arrived by train saturday morning. It was the very first time my niece ever traveled by train. We started of by going to a café to get some coffee and a cake to go with it and my niece told me all about the exciting train trip. We went shopping for a while after that, until my niece got bored with going in and out of stores LOL.
Went home to my place for a bit of rest and then to a store that is selling horse stuff. My niece is going to riding school and she needed some new gear. I have always been afraid of horses. They are sooooo big when you get close to them! Scary!
That evening it was so good to have someone to talk to!
Sunday morning we went to a place serving hotel breakfast. We sat there for quite some time, talking and eating. Nice place.
At lunch time we met up with my sisters husband and my nephew at IKEA. I needed some more book shelves (still have about 12-13 moving boxes to unpack) and it was time for me to cash in my christmas present. The present was to borrow my sisters hubby for a day. Since I´m single and don´t have anyone to ask for help with stuff I can´t manage on my own, I thought that was the best present ever. So he transported my book shelves and a new living room table to my home and then put them all together while me and my sister took care of the kids. Two of the shelves have glass doors and it looks great! I´m quite pleased with my living room now.
After my sister and her family left I actually unpacked 6 of the remaining moving boxes. Should have continued yesterday after work but I was too tired.
It turned out to be the best weekend in a very long time!
